Tax Calculation

Plivo calculates applicable taxes based on your billing address:
  • State and local sales taxes
  • Telecommunication taxes
  • Other jurisdiction-specific taxes and fees
Update your billing address in Account Settings to ensure accurate tax assessment.

Why Plivo Charges Taxes

Where Plivo has sufficient presence in a state, locality, or jurisdiction, we are required to:
  • Collect applicable taxes
  • Remit taxes to the appropriate authorities
Sales tax is an indirect tax levied at the point of sale. While paid by Plivo, the burden is passed to customers as required by law.
